With a professional background spanning emergency medicine, neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and public health, Dr. Damon Whitfield has dedicated his career to improving patient care and supporting and advancing osteopathic medical care. Through leadership roles in clinical practice, medical education, and nonprofit health care organizations, Dr. Damon Whitfield has contributed to the development of regenerative medicine and osteopathic treatment approaches while mentoring future health care professionals.
Dr. Whitfield is currently a medical director at Liberty Osteopathic Center. He has also served as president of the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine (from 2020 to 2021) and as a board member for Osteopathic Education Services. Through these positions, he has supported continuing education, physician collaboration, and the advancement of regenerative medicine within the osteopathic profession.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Whitfield has maintained affiliations with medical organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Osteopathy, the Ohio Osteopathic Association, and the Ohio State Medical Association. He is committed to medical education, leadership development, public health, and comprehensive patient care within the field of osteopathic medicine.
